HISTORY & PHILOSOPHY

1998

Bubbles was founded in 1998, PADI Dive Center no. 10860, in a small yet cozy shop in South Jakarta. Since then, the Dive Center grew, thanks to all the motivated scuba divers, and now, we are pleased to announce our new location, in the middle of Jakarta, a newly build Dive Center with a unique design 7 meter deep pool. It is great now, as divers in their final steps of their training, will have a real feeling about descending and equalizing like in the sea. So when we perform our first dive at sea, it will not be a foreign activity…It is also useful for other divers that wished to practice their buoyancy, underwater photography in a controlled situation.

By the way, our lower office offers a unique underwater view of the pool at around 3 meters deep. It’s great to have your friend take pictures while you dive.

Since September 2008, Bubbles Dive Center is rated as PADI 5 stars Dive Center.

OUR TEAM

Of course, at Bubbles I am not alone as there are other instructors and also people that are busy around the facility. Let me introduce first our PADI Instructors (including yours truly):

YEYEN TARYONO

Dive since early 1995, joined the Bubbles Dive Center in 2004 and obtained a certificate PADI Instructor in 2006, SDI Instructor in 2007 and also PADI MSDT in 2008, PADI IDC Staff Instructor in 2011.

SHINTA DJOJONEGORO

She got her PADI open water course in 1994 and became PADI dive instructor in 2012. In 2016 she obtained PADI MSDT level.
She loves travelling and on her spare time, she enjoys bicycle riding and hiking nearby trails to look for the perfect waterfalls.

NYOMAN OJEL

Started diving in 2011 and become Sidemount Diver in 2012. Currently focus on Sidemount Diving and Underwater Photography and Videography.

ULI ARITONANG

She started blowing bubbles from regulator back in 1983. Certified as PADI Instructor in 2002 and EFR Instructor in 2003.

POPPY SIREGAR

She took the first plunge in 2008 and decided to start taking the Pro level in 2012. Finally got certified as OWSI in 2015 and upgraded to MSDT in 2017.

KIKI SEMBIRING

Fell in love with diving as an open water student with Bubbles Dive Center in 2001. Been diving all over the world and wanting to share the beauty of underwater world with others, Kiki decided to turn pro in 2016 and came back to Bubbles Dive Center to take the Dive Master course and subsequently becoming a PADI Open Water Instructor

OKTAFIANO CANAKA

He is an outdoor geek, and has always had energy to do outdoor sports from trail running, hiking, mountaineering and of course scuba diving.
He tried scuba diving in 2003, got certified in 2004 and since then he has found himself busy exploring the archipelago & quenching his vision of lifetime adventures.
Never stop , then he followed his passion to be a professional scuba diver, became Dive master in 2008 & Instructor in 2011, since then he teaches divers, new and experienced in a professional, safe and fun atmosphere.

WISNU SULISTIO

Start diving 2010. And he certified as, PADI OWSI in 2014, Deep Instructor and Enriched Air Instructor as well.

CINTHYA

Has a background in Marine Science leads her to explore underwater world. She enrolled in PADI Zero to Hero Divemaster internship and joined Bubbles Dive Center and became Instructor in 2020.

DENY RIMBARAWA

Fell in love into the underwater world since 2010 when he took scuba trial at Bali on the first time, then he came to the Bubbles Dive Center in 2012. Got the PADI instructor rating at 2014 and become one of the freelance instructor there since then. Now he is holding PADI MSDT Instructor rating with more than 750+ dive logs. He is also holding as certified Close Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Diver.
Beside of his passion in the diving activities, he is also working as Senior IT Engineer in one of reputable foreign bank at Jakarta.
